It was the eve of the AFL grand final public holiday, not that that was any more of an excuse to come out and see an old favourite grace the stage. It was a perfect vibe in the room for Cloud Control, chilled out but at the same time, everyone was excited for the public holiday the next day.

The Croxton Band room was filling up quickly as Tiny Little Houses played their set. They played their crowd favourites in Milo Tin, Soon We Won't Exist and their latest single, Garage Bin to close their time on stage. Their hometown crowd gave them a huge reception.

Cloud Control made a huge entrance on to the stage, walking out to none other than Eminem's early 2000’s hit '8 Mile'.

They began their set strongly with some old favourites in Promises, Dojo Rising, Moon Rabbit and their massive single from 2009, Gold Canary.

Lead singer Alister Wright was loving being back in Melbourne, and the band played like it too. For a four piece, they are able to produce such a lush, dreamy sound. Their trademark harmonies were on point as always, with their old favourite Gold Canary showcasing this.

The band played some new songs from their new album Zone. These tracks included the title track Zone, Rainbow City and their 80's inspired new single of the album - Treetops.

Cloud Control closed off their set with their 2009 hit single There's Nothing In The Water We Can't Fight. They then returned to the stage to deliver a haunting rendition of 'Dream Cave'.

Thanks for yet another beautiful show Cloud Control!
