CAMERON AVERY RELEASES NEW SINGLE 'DANCE WITH ME
After unveiling the bold and cinematic visual offering for βWasted On Fidelityβ last month, today Perth-bred/NY-based artist Cameron Avery reveals 'Dance With Me.' The track marks the third single from his upcoming debut solo album Ripe Dreams, Pipe Dreams, out March 10th via ANTI and Spinning Top Records (pre-order available now.) Recently wrapping his Australian βCesβt Toiβ single tour, Cameron is set to appear at SXSW 2017 followed by an extensive album tour of the U.S, U.K and Europe this April.
Following 'Ces't Toi' and 'Wasted On Fidelity', 'Dance With Me' showcases Averyβs hypnotically deep vocal and a commanding drumbeat, revealing its vulnerability with subtle strings that provide the song with a welcome layer of light.
Inspired by the old records he loved βJohnny Hartman, Dean Martin, Frank Sinatra, Elvis Presley, Sarah Vaughan, Etta James, Avery says of the upcoming self-produced album, βI just started saying βyesβ to things while making the album. I figured: Iβm in my mid 20βs, I play in a band, I live in Los AngelesβIβm ripe to dream.
