NINAJIRACHI TEAMS UP WITH YATES RELEASING 'SAME WORLD' ON SWEAT IT OUT
After independently releasing her debut single ‘Pure Luck’, the 17-year old electronic prodigy Ninajirachi is on-track for her first label release through Sweat It Out – written alongside now label brother Yates. Although from contrasting musical backgrounds, a singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, and a budding electronic producer, the duo have found a natural balance in their collaboration that shines through on ‘Same World’.
Ninajirachi explains, “I found Yates' vocals to be really approachable and I loved the riff that he wrote. After I assembled the drums, 'Same World' really took shape and I’m excited for everyone to hear it."
From the outset, Ninajirachi has been one to watch; from being discovered on triple j’s Unearthed High competition to recent praise from Pigeons & Planes – labelling her as one of their ‘Best New Artists’. Her debut single, ‘Pure Luck feat. Freya Staer’ has been added to full rotation on triple j, received support from Zane Lowe at Beats 1, achieved Top 10 in the Electronic chart on iTunes, and topped the Spotify viral charts for AU & USA. Also an Unearthed finalist, Yates has garnered a multitude of online support for his 2016 releases including his ‘Mercury’ EP and following single ‘It’s Over Now’, which have collectively gained over 10 million streams.
