UV boi فوق بنفسجي shares new single + announces national tour.

One of Australia's most sought-after producers, is Brisbane's UV boi فوق بنفسجي who today unveils his new track “All I Want”, as premiered last night via triple j and out now via Valve Sounds. Coinciding with the release, UV boi فوق بنفسجي announces a national headline tour to celebrate his forthcoming EP Returned Alone, kicking off in September.
 
Featuring Sydney-based vocalist and label mate Villette, “All I Want” is a refined arrangement of angelic synth and shadowed tempo, each element carefully layered and executed perfectly. The brooding melody is only to be juxtaposed by Villette’s vibrant vocals, which drench the track from start of play, all the while incorporating his eclectic 808-productions.
 
“All I Want” is lifted from his forthcoming EP Returned Alone, set for release later on August 29. To celebrate, UV boi فوق بنفسجي (Emmanuel John), will embark on a national headline tour visiting all major cities along with regional shows in Canberra, Mandurah and Fremantle. The tour kicks off at Sydney’s Oxford Art Factory on September 22 and finishes in Hobart at Republic Bar on October 25.

John shares some insight on his sophomore EP: "Returned Alone is the sequel to L-UV, following the story of the search for love or an experience near to it. Was love found? Was someone left with a broken heart or maybe were both? Were things moving at different speeds? Was I ready? Did I ruin something that could have blossomed into something beautiful before it even started. Returned Alone is mostly wrote in the perspective of the other person, explores some of those possible feelings that that person may have felt in the end of all things. I don’t know what they think of me now". 
 
Since emerging in 2014 with debut single “Thank U” feat. Fionn Richards and endorsed by Nina Las Vegas and Ryan Hemsworth, UV boi فوق بنفسجي has become one Australia’s most in-demand producers. Known for his enigmatic sound: a combination of eclectic and bass-driven beats, many of which have become cult classics. After signing to influential Melbourne-based label Valve Sounds, he has since amassed a cult following both locally and abroad. His live performances and breakout single "LUV" earned him a nomination for Unearthed Artist of the Year and won him Undiscovered Artist of the Year at the 2014 InTheMix Awards.
 
No stranger to the road, UV boi فوق بنفسجي has toured the country numerous times over, with acclaimed acts Collarbones, Joy, Gill Bates and Young Franco warming up his stages. He has also been picked to support an alumni of electronic heavyweights including Tkay Maidza, Kaytranada, Goldlink, Lido and George Maple.
