TXNK releases debut single Runnin'

A big sound squeezed into a small package, TXNK is the product of old school beats meeting new school methods. A forerunner of the new wave of Australian electronic music, this young upstart’s percussion-based background allows her to transform beats into heaving club anthems, with a festival-ready steeze that’ll test even the best systems.

Pinged by HeRobust as the best opening act in Australia, and with hand-picked support slots for the likes of Diplo, A-Trak, Baauer, A$AP Ferg, Dillon Francis and more, this young producer has already concreted herself as a must-have on festival line-ups including FOMO, Touch Bass and Groovin the Moo as well as the legacy of pioneers Stereosonic, Big Day Out and Future Music Festival. Adding to her extensive resume is her show The Kitchen on Fresh FM, which has turned her into a trusted authority in bass music to a loyal fan base of listeners.

Having released tracks including HUNIDN1, which earned her a place on Nina Las Vegas’ NLV Presents tour, plus Booyekah and Bi$hes, her music garnered early support from local tastemakers triple j, triple j Unearthed, inthemix, Fbi Radio and Purple Sneakers, who unanimously labeled her as one to watch.

Gearing up to take control in 2017, her monster debut single Runnin’, which has collected early support from fellow Australians Lo’99, Spenda C, Didier Cohen and NEMØ, is out on NOW, kicking off a slew of original releases united by concussive force and unforgettable melodies.

Just the tip of the iceberg, get used to this vowel-less future legend, because TXNK is ready to make her mark.
