SPECIAL GUEST MIKE NOGA JOINS THE BILL FOR SPOON'S SYDNEY & MELBOURNE SHOWS

SPOON with special guest MARK NOGA

It’s album release celebrations for Austin’s Spoon, their critically acclaimed LP Hot Thoughts out today!

Britt Daniel, Jim Eno, Rob Pope and Alex Fischel will arrive in Australia in less than a week’s time – and today announce Melbourne singer/songwriter Mike Noga (ex-The Drones) will join the bill as special guest support in both cities.

Noga’s third album, KING, was released in 2016 to acclaim. Loosely based on Georg Büchner’s great unfinished play, Woyzeck, KING is a dark, psychedelic, rock and roll concept album, and Noga’s most ambitious project yet. Featuring Noah Taylor (Game of Thrones, Almost Famous) as ‘The Narrator’ and produced by Something For Kate’s Paul Dempsey, KING is the tale of one man’s decent into madness and the bloodshed that follows.

Spoon perform at Sydney’s Metro Theatre on Thurs 23 March, and Melbourne’s Croxton Bandroom on Sat 25 March. Be quick – Melbourne is selling fast!
