PREMIERE: Sequel - Don't Walk Away (feat. Tom Mahler)

Central Coast based producer, Sequel comes through with a fresh new tune, "Don't Walk Away" featuring “The Moving Stills” lead singer, Tom Mahler.

If you aren't familiar, Sequel is a young dj/producer who has had a solid year supporting some of Australia's most loved electronic acts, as well as putting out tunes with fellow Australian producers, Tiber and Ninajirachi.

Having known each other since high school, the collaboration between the two was said to be a fairly natural process, however it isn’t often you hear such an organic tone of voice on an electronic song.

According to Sequel, this idea of combining elements of rock and electronic music was one of main concepts behind the production of this song.

The large range of instrumentation used in the song demonstrates why it is important keep things fresh by combining electronic and more traditional instruments. With prominent layers of live drums, guitar, piano and brass, as well as synthesisers and vocal samples, this one is bound to turn heads on earphones and the dance floor.

The two are said to have plenty more music to be released within the coming months so definitely keep your eyes and ears out.
