PREMIERE: Lamalo X Kim Ven - Sunrise EP

Indie electronic duo Lamalo and soulful singer-songwriter Kim Ven have teamed up once again for their new EP release, “Sunrise”. This EP includes previous hit Blue Bandana Baby and continues the textural, guitar driven sound that this collaboration is renowned for.

We’ve all heard of bedroom producers, however this EP was written in Lamalo guitarist Yossi Cascun’s home kitchen studio. The ingredients for this mouth-watering EP consist of Michiya Nagai’s production and synth layering, Kim Ven’s enchanting vocals and Yossi’s smooth guitar licks.

To put the cherry on top, the title track Sunrise will be released alongside their first ever music video. The video explores various forms of duality, whether it be past and present, life and death or reality and fantasy.

Lamalo and Kim Ven will be launching Sunrise at The Horse in Surry Hills on April 27 and you can also catch them at Oxford Art Factory on May 18th.
