GOOD BOY & JARROW Team up to announce Split 7" Announce co-headline tour

Fast-rising Brisbane trio Good Boy and freakishly talented Melbourne quartet Jarrow are about to become the bestest of friends. They’re hitting the road together this April for a co-headline tour in support of their respective new singles.

Good Boy’s 'Braap' and Jarrow’s 'Cody' were premiered last night by Richard Kingsmill on triple j and are available on all digital platforms today. The tracks will also be released as a Split 7” exclusively through Barely Dressed Records or in stores on Record Store Day 2017.

The two bands have shared a mutual admiration since playing together at Melbourne’s Grace Darling Hotel late in 2016. Both are strikingly original and prolific in their output, they’ve only been around a couple of years but have built a reputation for barnstorming live shows and recordings which are poetic, funny and raucous. They share a creative spirit and a new Australian punk-rock aesthetic.

Good Boy’s 'Braap' is a burst of garage rock energy which recalls the best of Cloud Nothings, Parquet Courts and Australia’s influential Eddy Current Suppression Ring, it's is a rollicking hit out for one of the most exciting punk rock bands in the country. Vital, fun and loud.

Mega prolific 20-year-old producer Jarrow shot onto the Australian scene last year with an accomplished record of audacious production and psychedelic garage pop. Jarrow’s new track 'Cody' takes that sound to a new level. Two minutes of millennial poetry set to a punk rock guitar riff that won’t quit, and its infectious as hell.
