Flower Drums Return With New Single 'Back To Earth' ft Ash Hendriks

Recently relocated from Perth, Flower Drums have found ground in Melbourne to make their return after taking time to travel and develop their sound. Premiered by triple j’s Gen Fricker ‘Back To Earth’ is the stunning new single taken from their debut album, due out 2017.

The duo’s self produced brooding synth track featuring the alluring vocals of Sydney based performer and producer Ash Hendriks, was recorded and mixed at Soft Machine studios, Melbourne. Leigh Craft and Aden Senycia’s delicious slice of dream-pop electronica is the follow up to their previous single 'Don’t Wait’ ft St. South from their 2015 debut EP '28 Mansions' which earned the pair glowing reviews and spins on triple j and community radio.

Since winning a spot to play St. Jerome’s Laneway Festival in 2014 and releasing their first EP, Flower Drums have toured the U.S and supported the likes of#1 Dads, Jungle Giants, Panama and Client Liaison. They also snagged a nomination at the 2014 WAM Awards for ‘Best Pop Act’.

With all of this under their belt and the new single offering a taste of what’s to come in 2017, Flower Drums look forward to a busy year ahead, revealing their new music and touring nationally.
