Boo Seeka drop new single "Does This Last"
Set to head to SXSW this March and with a string of North American headline shows already announced, Sydney duo Boo Seeka continue to push their sonic boundaries, today unveiling their new single βDoes This Last.β The first sample off their upcoming debut album slated for release later this year, the track joins the news the pair will head out on a national headline tour this April and May, including appearances at festivals Bass In The Grass and Big Pineapple. Joining them on the road will be electronic outfit Glades, the fast-rising Sydney electronic music trio who recently released their debut EP βThis Is What Itβs Like.β
Working with producer, Ian Pritchett (Angus & Julia Stone, The Beautiful Girls), βDoes This Lastβ navigates through a bed of spacey synth and string layers. Accumulating over 8 million Spotify streams and dominating national airwaves, the single follows βOh Myβ, βDeception Bayβ, βFoolβ and 2015 debut βKingdom Leaderβ which peaked at #6 on the Australian iTunes Electronic chart, reached #50 in triple jβs 2015 Hottest 100 edition and snagged the outfit a J Award nomination for Unearthed Artist of the Year in 2015.
Boo Seeka have just rounded up a year of sold-out headline tours and festivals in Australia and abroad, including appearances at Groovin The Moo, Splendour In the Grass, Southbound Festival and Party In The Paddock. Having supported the likes of DMAβs, Jarryd James, Sticky Fingers and SAFIA, Boo Seeka have just completed a 3-month U.S run before returning home to continue work on their debut album, with more details to be revealed in the coming months.
