With Melbourne’s Christopher Port on production duties, the Pieater provides the perfect foil - adding deep undercurrent to the collaboration, which takes the track deeper and deeper, floating effortlessly between warm, sunset-flecked electronica, and a darker journey into a 2-step house beat inspired by late night UK garage.
A heady mixture of Annie's now signature swoon-worthy lyricisms, showcasing from contagious chorus to flying falsetto, her true talent lies in her storytelling – channelling the heartfelt melancholy of The Cure, told in an entirely modern manner.
