Andy Ward shares upbeat new track, 'Gun Shy'.

Following the success of single, 'Let Me Down', 'Gun Shy' is a bold protest song wrapped in the allegory of an upbeat love song. A reaction to generational disconnect, the track speaks of being part of an age bracket that is being scrutinized. In Andy's words, "Our generation is currently under fire for being liberally minded lazy, smashed avo eating lay-abouts who won’t do anything if it’s too challenging.  This could not be further from the truth! We will not leave, we will not be made scapegoats and we will stand up for justice, liberty and harmony. We are not Gun Shy!" he says. Produced by Andy and his friends the track was mixed by Cameron Parkin (Client Liaison, Owl Eyes, Elizabeth Rose) and received the mastering treatment from award winning producer Leon Zervos.

Andy Ward's previous single 'Let Me Down' premiered on triple j's '2017 with Richard Kingsmill, since clocking just shy of 200k plays on Spotify. The Brisbane artist launches 'Gun Shy' with a show at The Foundry on Sunday 27 August supported by Skye Neil, Sleep Club.
