Yellow Claw announce Australian Tour dates
YELLOW CLAW RETURN TO AUSTRALIA THIS MAY FOR SHOWS IN ADELAIDE, BRISBANE AND SYDNEY
Amsterdam’s Yellow Claw are set to bring their electrifying show back to Australia this May for shows in Adelaide, Brisbane and Sydney. Since making their debut trip to Australia back in 2015 (check out the looseness of that tour here), the Dutchmen have been on a non-stop world tour, playing shows around the globe almost every weekend. For what is now their third Australian tour, Yellow Claw are set to play Downtown Superclub in Adelaide on Thursday, 4th May, The Met in Brisbane on Friday, 5th May, before heading to Sydney to play Max Watt’s on Saturday, 6th May for Eighty-Six Events.
As much as their music is about energy release by any means necessary, Yellow Claw’s whole approach is highly conceptual and deliberate; from the numbered mixtapes to the branded merchandise, the slick music videos and collaborations with artists as diverse as Diplo and Ty Dolla $ign, Tiësto and Pusha T. Launched in 2014, Yellow Claw’s own record label Barong Family has become a home to upcoming, likeminded artists like Cesqeaux, LNY TNZ, Moksi, Mightyfools, Mike Cervello, Chace and more.
In November of 2015 Yellow Claw finally delivered their full-length debut album Blood For Mercy on Mad Decent, followed by a massive US tour. Featuring many big name features, it went straight to #1 on Billboard’s Heatseeker Albums as well as Top Dance/Electronic Albums charts and also reached #1 on Beatport.
The single “In My Room”, made in partnership with DJ Mustard and featuring Ty Dolla $ign and Tyga, has so far clocked over 10 million views on YouTube and over 99 million streams on Spotify. Two brand new singles were released both featuring debuting singer Yade Lauren (“Invitation” followed by “Love & War”) with a 16-date Barong Family World Tour scheduled in between for good measure.
Don’t miss Yellow Claw on their Australian tour this May.
