The countdown is on: Justin Bieberβs highly anticipated Purpose World Tour kicks off its Australian and New Zealand leg in less than three weeksβ time.
Adding to an already unmissable night, Frontier Touring and AEG Live are delighted to confirm that Queenslandβs biggest pop export Sheppard will be performing at all Justin Bieberβs Australian and New Zealand shows, joining the already announced Martin Garrix.
βWeβve done some huge shows overseas like Rock in Rio, Lollapalooza in the states, Summersonic in Japan and V Festival in the UK, but this will be the first time weβll have the chance to play shows of this size here at home. To be able to do it with an artist like Justin on his album tour for what I think is one of the best pop records of the decade, is a real honour for us.β β George Sheppard
The announcement coincides with news of Sheppardβs forthcoming sophomore album, which will take the band to another level after spending the past few years topping charts across the world, racking up over 400 million streams, picking up a slew of ARIA, APRA and AIR Awards and delivering one of Australiaβs biggest pop hits of the decade in the infectious βGeronimoβ.
Before landing in Australia and New Zealand, the Purpose World Tour has already wowed fans and critics alike across the United States, Canada, Japan, Europe, the United Kingdom and Mexico. With more than 100 huge shows on the tour and more than 1.7 million ticket sales globally, there is no doubt that Bieber is at the top of his game with this tour:
