Running Touch Releases New Single "Lovely" +  Announces Debut EP "A Body Slow" Out March 31st

Following a phenomenal 2016, Running Touch has today released his new single ‘Lovely’and announced his debut EP A Body Slow will be released March 31st and available to pre-order now. Premiering ‘Lovely’ last night on triple j Good Nights, the new track is available today to stream or download and along with singles‘Courtesy Of’ and ‘Aubrey’ is an instant grat track on A Body Slow EP pre-orders.

‘Lovely’ was written and recorded by Running Touch who explains "Something I wanted to work on in my music that is a significant weak point for me is ‘meaning’. Not that my songs lack meaning, but it’s more about trying to be more 'objective' rather than subjective and vague for the sake of pretty words.”

He continues," ‘Lovely’ is a compilation of stories fed from three friends and myself - it’s the first time I’ve sourced a story and I love it because they’re friends, I love the stories so it was a lot easier for me to try channel what I feel they think, or what atmosphere they would imagine for this particular song. In some cases we’ve actually been together in these stories so it’s a special feeling to immortalise that.”

There is no doubt the Melbourne artist is in the thick of an incredible few months.  In addition to acting as a studio member for one of Australia’s top hardcore bands Ocean Grove, the enigmatic artist finished 2016 on a high playing to crowds of thousands at Beyond The Valley and Southbound festivals over the New Year period. Hitting the ground running this year with his last release ‘Aubrey’ scraping Triple J’s hottest 200, his self-curated documentary capturing the attention of tens of thousands. The mini-doco encapsulated his life not only as a musician, but as an artist in every sense of the word. Featuring the debut of “Lovely,” the film was created, curated, narrated and produced by Running Touch himself and is a testament to the 22 year olds incredible artistic abilities.
