REVIEW: The Preatures - The Torquay Hotel

Torquay got a dose of Sydney swagger last night as The Preatures rolled into town, celebrating 10 years of Blue Planet Eyes with a sold-out, shoulder-to-shoulder crowd.
They kicked things off with Somebody’s Talking straight into Cruel — two songs in and the dance floor was already heaving. Every track felt like a reminder of just how good this record still is, with the band leaning into the nostalgia but keeping it fresh.
Frontwoman Isabella Manfredi is an absolute rockstar. Strutting, leaning into the crowd, playing with props like vintage telephones — she owned every inch of the stage.
Proof that some records don’t just age well, they get louder.
