PREMIERE: Pacific Avenue - 'Girlfriend' Single
From topping the triple j Unearthed charts the week of their first release, to supporting San Sisco & Thelma Plum for one of their very first live shows, South Coast locals Pacific Avenue sure aren’t messing around. Forming in the Summer of 2017, Harry O’Brien, Ben Fryer, Jack Kay and Dom Littrich are already stealing hearts along the east coast with their very own brand of laid back indie rock. And with two killer singles already under their belts, they’re just getting started.
Compared with earlier releases, ‘Girlfriend’ tells something of a darker tale; falling for the one you shouldn’t. One of the very first songs that the band wrote together, the track sat idle until just recently, when the band found a spark that ignited the whole damn thing. Full of gritty guitar and suggestive lyrics, this one’s sure to get stuck in your head.
