DMA'S 'Delete' goes gold + 'Believe' (Cher cover) out now

DMA'S ‘DELETE’ GOES GOLD + ‘BELIEVE’ (CHER COVER) OUT NOW

I OH YOU are thrilled to share the news that DMA’S single ‘Delete’ has achieved gold status in Australia (35,000+ sales). ‘Delete’ was the first single to be released from the band’s ARIA-award nominated debut LP Hills End.

Having recorded the song in Johnny Took’s bedroom back in early 2014, it’s fair to say that the trio’s debut single has won the hearts of many around the world. Still to this day ‘Delete’ continues to propel the band forward both locally and internationally as new fans discover what was the beginning of DMA’S. We would like to congratulate the band on this fantastic achievement!

Coupled with the exciting news surrounding ‘Delete’, today we are also hyped to announce that the band’s much-loved cover of ‘Believe’ by Cher is now available on all digital platforms for the first time. Since debuting as a triple j ‘Like A Version’ in October last year, the band’s rendition of the Cher classic has amassed just shy of 3 million views on YouTube and charted at #6 in the Hottest 100 – the highest charting ‘Like A Version’ cover of all time.

Never ones to ease the acceleration pedal, the band are now getting ready to head back overseas for a string of sold out shows on their biggest headline tour to date through Europe and the UK. These shows will wrap up the Hills End album cycle and see the band enter a brief hibernation as they bunker down for album number two.
