“Justice” is your first new release in ten years, what was the inspiration behind the track, and why did this feel like the right song to mark your comeback?

As a collective, the group wanted a great blend between what’s current & that justice crew bounce, we wanted the song to be a bit more mature in our lyrics & with a good message. Crazy 10yrs

The single is all about empowerment, resilience, and standing tall against oppression, what does the message of ‘Justice’ mean personally to each of you?

As a group this was our message & vision when we started so, why not speak it into the world with our music.

After such a long break, what motivated Justice Crew to come back now, and how does it feel stepping back into the spotlight as an independent group?

Feels awesome to be able to step back into our groove & having that feeling of euphoria and giving people that nostalgic vibe again is gangsta. Being able to express without being held back by such a big identity as a label is incredible. Don’t get me wrong, amazing guidance at the start of a learning experience.

You’re currently on a national tour, how has it been reconnecting with fans across the country, and what’s the energy been like in the room?

Can’t explain that feeling, we didn’t realise how much of a positive impact we had on the younger generation now seeing them grown at our shows telling us how much we help them through their adolescence through anxiety depression suicidal thoughts is crazy just because we were in it travelling gig performing now it’s so intimate with our shows. We get that time to really hang out with our fans.

Your NRL halftime performance was your first big stage moment back, what was that experience like, standing in front of a stadium crowd and millions watching on TV?

Amazing vibe loved every moment to still be killing shows like that with easy personally we still have the best live show.

Looking back at your huge career milestones, from “Boom Boom” to international tours, how do you see this new chapter of Justice Crew evolving compared to your earlier years?

Great opportunity for the next generation is our plan, with the next justice crew let’s goooo & as many more songs album bigger & better shows.
