Fuzzy Celebrates 30 Years of Australian Festivals and Touring

Australian live music company Fuzzy is celebrating its 30th anniversary after three decades of festivals, tours and electronic music events across the country.

Founded in 1996 with Sydney club night Sublime, Fuzzy went on to launch some of Australia’s best-known festivals, including Parklife, Field Day, Harbourlife, Listen Out and Shore Thing.

The anniversary follows a busy period for the promoter. Groovin the Moo returned with a one-off Lismore event after a two-year break, while Field Day celebrated its 25th anniversary and will return to Sydney on New Year’s Day 2027.

Fuzzy also launched The Point concert series at Fleet Steps, debuted Golden Hour with Crowded House at Bondi Beach and brought UK pop festival Mighty Hoopla to Australia for the first time.

Its recent touring roster has included Mochakk, Dennis Cruz, Disco Lines, MEDUZA, Gorgon City and Levity. Future tours will be presented under the new β€œA Tour by Fuzzy” banner as part of a wider rebrand marking the company’s anniversary.

β€œThirty years is a huge milestone in live music,” Fuzzy CEO Adelle Robinson said. β€œWe’ve gone from Sublime to festivals across the country, regional shows, touring and new live formats, but the instinct has always been the same: back great music, build the right experience around it and give people a reason to come together.”
