HELEN SHANAHAN ANNOUNCES NEW VIDEO AND PERTH SHOWS

Fresh from her sold out single launch at Villanova Music in Perth last night, Perth folk artist, Helen Shanahan’s latest offering, ‘I Only Hide’ is an honest and personal song about her struggles with anxiety in social and performance arenas and her want to become a more outgoing person in these situations.  The gorgeous single was recorded in Nashville, and follows an organic, natural progression from her critically acclaimed EP ‘Finding Gold’, released in 2015.

The video clip is a perfect representation of what anxiety can feel like, with the video depicting Helen’s battle with her two selves, sitting in the darkness with a sense of being alone inside and the want to be happy and outside, enjoying the freedom self confidence can bring.
